Born and raised in Croatia, Josi has always had a love for animals and an adventurous spirit. After spending three years in Heidelberg, Germany, where she worked as a live-in housekeeper and caregiver, she made Vancouver her home for the past decade. With a degree in Zootechnics (animal husbandry and agriculture), Josi’s heart still belongs to animals—except for spiders, praying mantises, and stink bugs, of course! While she adores cats, life with a 5-year-old daughter and a pair of parakeets keeps things lively at home.

Josi’s passion for cleaning and customer service began in 2010. In Canada, she climbed the ranks from housekeeper to operations manager at a corporate housing company, honing her expertise in problem-solving, people management, and delivering excellent service. This experience, combined with her love of meeting new people and making their lives easier, naturally led her to start Whiteroom Cleaning in 2021.

Josi’s dream of starting her own business began in 2016, inspired by a family full of successful entrepreneurs. After years of working in the corporate world, she decided to step out on her own, determined not to be the one working for someone else. Whiteroom Cleaning officially launched in 2021, combining Josi’s passion for cleaning with a deep understanding of customer service.
